• How do I care for a stainless steel swing grill or fire bowl?

  • Clean with warm water and a mild detergent.
  • Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and easy to maintain.
  • Do not use steel wool or aggressive cleaning agents.
  • Treat the grill rack with a grease and protein-soluble cleaner and lightly sand it with a polishing cloth from time to time (once a year).

• How do I care for a steel fire bowl?

  Steel develops a natural patina.
  After barbecuing, allow to burn out thoroughly, brush and treat with oven varnish from time to time. This burns in more and more and protects the material.
  Optionally, oil lightly to reduce rust formation.

• Can V2A stainless steel 1.4031 rust?

  Genuine V2A stainless steel is normally rust-free. In coastal areas, i.e. areas with very salty air, slight traces of rust may occur.
  
  Foreign rust can occur when normal steel comes into contact with stainless steel – this can be easily removed.
